Benefits Of A Float Plan
    Preparing a float plan is the simplest and most reliable way to make critical information available to Search and Rescue personnel. Without at least minimal trip details, the size of a search area cannot be easily narrowed, and your chance of rescue drops considerably.
    Making sure your plan gets into the hands of the authorities when the time comes is just as critical as the plan itself. Failing to let anyone know you are out on the water could mean no one will be looking for you, bringing the chance of rescue and survival down to nearly zero.
    Be safe, have a plan ready. File it with us and be sure that someone starts to look for you the moment you are overdue.
What We Provide
    If you are overdue, and have not checked in with us, we will begin the process of calling out for you. To begin with, we will try to contact you directly. if you are unreachable we will immediately attempt to reach your emergency contacts.
    If your emergency contacts have not heard from you, cannot vouch for your safety, or are unreachable for any reason, we will contact the local authorities and/or the Coast Guard to alert them that you are overdue and missing. At this point your active float plan will be provided to Search and Rescue personnel.
